Meanwhile in America, officials at Norfolk and Southern who were behind the East Palestine Ohio train crash that released dangerous chemicals into the air and ground water of the region still walk free.

They might be convenient scapegoats for all I know.

They are working with outdated, unsafe systems. It’s probably super stressful compared to running a modern network where you have a bunch of automated safety checks and know exactly where all the trains are.
