I liked kbin more than Lemmy but I like sync more than anything. I guess Lemmy is my main go to now. GL and thank you.

What do you like more about kbin? I'm a new refugee and I'm still figuring out where to go to.

[–] LoFi@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I like kbin microblog twitter thingy feature. It was faster with less downtime at the time. It had more setting and I love customizing thing like round corner, color themes, sidebar on left or right, autoload post images, etc. I just have a better first impression.

I heard someone said kbin was newer with better scalibility compare to lemmy.world.

In the end it doesn't matter which one you choose. They both can view the same contents being posted. I like to think of it as choosing yahoo mail vs hotmail. Both let you send emails and both have different looks and feature.

Note I am like you and have no idea when it come to the technical stuff about this whole "federate" talk.

I tried signing up but clicking the green button doesn't do anything. I think the form might be broken. Firefox mobile.

Try in another browser. I had same problem using the signup link on Firefox mobile. Got it to work in chrome though.

I uninstalled old Sync some weeks ago and I've been missing it a lot. I am so excited for the new Sync!

Excuse the dumb question, but is it going to be just for Android? Or maybe an iOS version too?

[–] ericisshort@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Go here and follow the instructions to install a lemmy.world web app complete with shortcut that feels pretty close to the UI of Apollo.

When will this open for all users? I miss the sync experience I had with reddit. It was daily ritual.
