Iβve been playing through Octopath Traveler 2 but I got a bit burnt out on it and wanted something different so I picked up Rimworld yesterday and am really liking it so far. Lost my first colony to starvation because I hunted all of the animals and then left them to rot! π

I've been playing the original Quake, as well as Deus Ex. I'm not normally a fan of boomer shooters, but Quake has been surprisingly fun and interesting. I realize this might be a complaint for some, but I appreciate the simplified arsenal of weapons. It puts more focus on enemies and the level design, which I appreciate.
Deus Ex is fun, but it hasn't had the moment where it fully clicks for me just yet, like Prey did. I'm still enjoying it, but I'm curious to see if it really grips me like some other immersive sims do.
Caves of Qud & Rain World
BattleBit Remastered
Such a fun game to chill out and just shoot things. Its nice that I can change the feel of the game so much by playing on different server sizes and the choice of weapons is nice.
Little bit of Beyond All Reason, little bit of Battle Bit, and lots of Rocket League and PUBG
The last weeks I played valheim on my own server with some friends. It was so relaxing. But now the newest patch broke all the mods we were using.
So now I play Jak II and wonder how my child self could manage drone of those missions. Damn that game can be hard.
Playing mostly Honkai Star Rail, and Iβm in the middle of a Mass Effect trilogy run - quite literally, since Iβm halfway through ME2.
Final Fantasy X remake on PS Vita
Hogwarts Legacy.
I kinda stopped playing since it came out I was so busy with university.
Now that Iβm finished I can finally pick it up again!!
Also apex legends on the side. I donβt know what it is about the game but I canβt stop playing it, even though it just pisses me off lol
Anyone else can relate?
Citizen Sleeper (discounted on GOG rn!) is really good. The timed elements are not as stressful as I thought they might be and the overall story is interesting enough to keep me playing. It does feel a bit too easy in the later stages, and I'm afraid I might have made a decision that is gonna end the game for me too early, but otherwise I'm having fun with it, can definitely recommend it if you want a sci-fi story-based / resource management game.
Symphony of the night and Mario 64 on stream baby
Diablo 4. Mate of mine talked me and another friend to play it and, yeah, he was right: love it. Not the kind of game Iβd play alone but itβs brilliant as a laid-back social game (even if Iβm getting a bit obsessed, build wise).
Age of wonders 4! It's been awhile since I got so engaged with a 4x, and this one's got a pretty decent combat system to boot (turn based tactical).
Finally getting a chance to play through Jedi Survivor.
Final Fantasy XVI, Iβm 70% in, and Iβm having a real good time.
The story is interesting and keeps you going, not convoluted or opaque like in 13 or 15.
The sidequests are very boring at first, and still mostly fetch quests / fight certain enemies, but they eventually reward you with background story of the side characters, and some of them are pretty good.
The combat keeps throwing you new stuff with a good pace.
The eikon fights are what we can get as close to Asura's Wrath sequel. Every big fights are just hype
Also the music is top notch.
This game is gonna end up as one of my top 3 favorite mainline FF games.
(edit, deleted original post, since I accidentally clicked on post before finished writing)
Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. Just finished it last night. Was hilarious and short. Definitely get on sale though, it's less than 3 hours to 100%.
I just finished the main story for Bioshock Infinite. What a mind fuck. I'm still tripping over the reveal. I'm gonna be vague here because I don't want to give spoilers. And it seems there are no spoiler tags on lemmy yet.
I can't believe how many hints they gave me that I completely missed. They essentially tell you a couple of times, and I still missed it somehow. I almost want to go back and play it again to see how many hints I missed. I can think of a few off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are more.
Anyway, I'm playing the DLCs now. I enjoyed the first one, but the second one is seeming a bit painful. I really don't like stealth games.
Been hard on Diablo 4
and OSRS on the side because the grind never stops!
I'm revisiting the Ratchet & Clank series. I picked up the original 3 games for PS3 at a local game shop, and am trying to 100% all three of them. So far I did so on the 2nd game, and am about to finish that on the 1st game.
Dead by daylight is having it's anniversary event so largely that, mixed in with BattleBots and some diablo 4
I finally upgraded my graphics card to a 4070 Ti, despite the ridiculous pricing (been waiting for over 3 years to upgrade and I've using a GTX 1050 on a 1440p monitor this entire time). Now I'm working through a considerable backlog of GPU-intensive games that I was unable run well or even at all.
Started with God of War and I'm loving it! Next up is Read Dead Redemption 2.
Detroit become human. I find many PS games that got ported to PC are good. Lots of attention to detail. Although some are hard to get into. Can they ever stop talking for a second in persona 5 strikers so we can game a bit?!?
I got a good deal on Assassin's Creed II and finally figured out how to hook up an x-box controller to my PC (yes, I'm dumb). I never played any of the AC games other than the first one when it originally came out, so I'm excited to get done with work and give it a shot.
Zelda, Tears of the Kingdom. Still. And probably for the next few months ;)
Satisfactory. Still got to complete that last step. And put trains everywhere. Can't seem to help it.
I'm playing Satisfactory, there's something really meditative about building an enormous factory on a beautiful world
Ori and the Blind Forest. I like the art a lot.
Don't Starve Together. It's ruining my life since a friend gifted it to me.
Started playing fallout 4 with a mod collection, I've never played fallout 4 this much, I'm enjoying it a lot .
I played Smushi Come Home. It's about a little mushroom making their way home. It's a platformer with some light puzzle elements. Really reminded me of A Short Hike, both in vibes and length. It clocked in at about 3 hrs but was mad cozy.
I've been working through all the demos I downloaded during Next Fest so I can expand my already overstuffed wishlist. Between that I've been working through my second playthrough of Deltarune, finishing up all the stuff I missed the first time.
bought Spiderman Miles Morales on Steam last week, but haven't touched it, probably Sun Haven as well
Diablo 4, hearthstone, hsr
I just started Disney Dreamlight. Really enjoying it, nice and light plus adorable.
Really enjoying Portal 2
Hardspace:Shipbreaker, ETS2 and some fs 22
Gran Turismo 4
