Even if reddit doesn't die, having a surge in usage for federated tech is really amazing. Even though not everyone stuck around, mastodon has a lot of new folks because of Twitter nonsense.

A temporary blackout isn’t enough. We need indefinite blackouts in all participating subs. Hopefully we’ll see a mass exodus if that happens.
