I went to check it out recently and I don’t recognize it anymore. Spending some time away was good for me. 11 years and it’s gone.

If I could remember my password, I'd delete mine in a heartbeat
Most deletion tools only view the profile pages, they have a 1k non refreshing cap. So only 1k newest, 1k top etc. . So otherwise delete account just makes the rest against a [deleted] user the posts are all still there.
16 yo acct, barely touched it after joining hexbear (chapo.chat at that time) in late 2020
they probably keep an archive at the NSA anyway
Until spez brings them back...
Same, but I was snapped out of existence for "violating the rules". For talking about shooting paper targets at a gun range. apparently that is threatening violence.
I didn't delete my account or any of my posts when I left Reddit. Felt too much like punishing Reddit users and searchers of random information and not enough like punishing Spez.
I dunno. Aside from "fuck Spez" (which, don't get me wrong, I can't say is entirely unappealing), what's the argument to be made for deleting your post history via something like PowerDeleteSuite rather than just leaving and never visiting Reddit again?
It's not that important. People are putting far too much value into a forum account.
I debated whether or not I should wipe my post/comment history, but ultimately I decided that I just didn't want reddit to have anything I created, no matter how worthless it is.
Is there a way to download my saved items? I haven't gotten around to deleting yet and want to use PDS to do it thoroughly.
Power Delete Suite has the option to save a local backup before nuking your posts/comments from orbit.
