I don't know how to garden at all. I want to be able to sustain myself and my family with vegetables, fruits, etc. We are planning on building a farm even with animals to eat. What should we start with? How do you take care of the soil? What soil should we grow from? I want to grow things like root vegetables and potatoes, or scallions and different fruits like strawberries and blueberries etc. is there a way I can get the starting process for things like these things? I haven't ever taken care of anything even as small as a tiny flower.
