I guess I just want to vent.
Several years ago I set up a cache with one of the pelican boxes. There have been a few incidents where someone has stolen it or left it strewn in the parking lot. But this time someone put a dead fish in it. It was disgusting and not salvageable.
I purposely didn’t make it premium. And I don’t think making it premium would’ve prevented this.
For the most part people seem to really enjoy it and it has received 30 hearts. But this particular incident was so gratuitous.
I’ve temporarily disabled the cache and ordered a new container and some accessories. But this was a bit crushing.
The holidays tend to be when it gets the most activity, and I don’t think I’ll have it set up in time for next week.
