Original Title: A ground-breaking new study has measured concentrations of PFAS - also known as ‘forever chemicals’ - in freshwater turtles. PFAS concentrations were detected up to 30 times higher in the blood and organs of turtles, with biochemical changes to adult turtles and hatchlings, and population decline.
