I thought they didn't target children with their ads. Did I imagine that or is a barbie a product aimed at adults in Germany?

That was something that gets discussed now and then in politics but no. We have a lot of ads targeted to children.

A few years ago I got this experience on mobile and posted about it on r/assholedesign, but it was autoremoved as a banned repost even though I didn't see anything like it. Yet another ban happy subreddit, I'm glad to be out of that place. This is truly awful though, and why I'm happy to use revanced.

Just keep jacking up the ad-free tier price level.

If I'm paying monthly for a service without ads and I see a single (1) advertisement, I should at least get a month of free subscription because the other party is in breach of contract.

lol here we are, just after a few weeks when people were defending how yt premium was the best subscription plan ever on Lemmy. people deserve to be scammed like this tbh
