Original Title: A circa-1982 photo of a VideoConcepts store, a chain with 156 locations in 28 states. Its parent company was bought by Jack Eckerd, who noted in his autobiography that by 1984, the stores were failing. In 1985, he sold them to Tandy Corp (Radio Shack), where they limped along for another 10 years.
