Creating posts. (lemmy.world)

When I try to create a post it says coming soon. I figured others would have mentioned it by now so I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. Seems like kind of an important feature to have before release lol.

Other than that, I'm so happy to be back on Sync. It feels like forever.

I mean, you at least have enough for a lurker. And believe me, I'm just glad to have my Sync back, if only to lurk with for the time being.

Absolutely.

This first release is way more than a Minimum Viable Product and, as history has shown, the dev updates the hell out of apps.

I agree. I'm not complaining because I don't make posts often and I can still comment with the app. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me really.

It's everyone.

I just noticed the same thing. I'm mostly a commenter rather than a poster. But it'll be good when I have the option to create a post only to delete it just before posting, like I did over at the old place.

I noticed this too. Everything looks perfect with the app but is weird that such option is not working yet.

Is posting not the bare minimum the app should allow?

I think that the vast majority of people read and comment but don’t post so I’d imagine that it isn’t that essential.

You couldn’t post to Reddit with the free version of Apollo.
