Steam Deck install base: less than 2 million
Nintendo Switch install base: 125+ million
But by all means let's talk about Steam Deck.
Here we go again...

"We definitely need to talk more about the console that launched 6 years ago and sold 125+ million units". Nah thanks I'd rather see discussions about some smaller platforms.
Render96 the PC port of SM64 works amazing on it and only takes up 6W TDP, even with all the mental stuff going on when you enable chaos mode in the cheats.
Project Warlock and Dead Cells at the moment. Chained Echoes as mentioned is great on deck also. Gonna give Dragon's Dogma a go in anticipation of 2.
Currently playing some No Man's Sky. It runs better than I was expecting.
I was playing Showgunners and was really enjoying it but it crashes a lot on the deck. I'm hoping an update fixes it.
I have been playing Frostpunk for the last couple of weeks. I'm into city-builders/micromanaging games, so it works for me. I finished two scenarios so far; three more to go.
Just started Monster Hunter Rise. Played it on switch, wanted to get through sunbreak on the deck.
I've been using my steam deck mostly for older stuff that I bought and never got around to playing, like Hades and Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen.
I don't use my steam deck all that much, just when traveling. The last thing I played on it was Warhammer 40k Mechanicus, and that plays wonderfully on it. Definitely recommended.
I have mine but rarely know what to play on it, as my favorite games aren't comfortable to play on the deck - ie AoE, Endless Legend, Phasmophobia... This thread is going to be quite useful for me.
I'm finally making my way through all the MegaMan X games. I only ever beat the first one as a kid, so there's a lot for me to explore. I'm still beating my head against X2, so it's not going super well...
Being playing Dredge and Harry Potter through remote play on my Xbox. Xbox is wired and having no issues.
Curse of the dead gods (currently on HB), I thought Hades is a bit boring and too button mash-y. The stamina system solves this pretty well. So far loving it
Diablo IV, Assassin's Creed Origins, Caves of Qud, No Man's Sky. Also a bit of roguelites like Isaac, Dead Cells, Vampire Survivors, and Brotato.
I'll probably try Zelda TOTK again soonish, because I wasn't able to get it to run correctly (or sometimes even at all. Reading the comments here, it looks like it improved.
Mostly emulation. As a day 1 Dreamcast owner, the Dreamcast emulation has been mindblowing.
Most of the A-list games I prefer on console, so I don't bother with them on Steam.
I 100% Vampire Survivors and am currently playing through one of the first games I ever owned, FIFA 07. It sometimes feels like I am a child again sitting in front of the CRT-TV trying to shoot goals from the center-line. Good memories there
