I prefer Firefox and AdNauseum. I like seeing how the false ad clicks add up over time.

That's the beauty of lemmy and other open protocols, you can experience it however you like. If you prefer the stock web experience, it's there, if you prefer an alternative web experience, it's there, if you prefer an app, there are several to choose from. If you don't like any of that, you can even spend some time and make your own crazy thing.

The Lemmy mobile app is excellent. I never feel a need to download an app to browse on mobile.

I want features the web UI doesn't have, like an inage viewer with zoom gestures and a direct file share button.

Thunder has that, and as a foss app I will be able to add more stuff that I want, like easy toggling or dismissing of read posts, and more.
