Yeah, this lawsuit is embarrassingly frivolous.

Musk might as well sue Biden for being president or Grimes for breaking his heart. There's no case here.

How exactly would it put them in the line of fire? And how does defederating have anything to do with potentially being sued by Twitter?

Also, do people know that Threads isn't currently federated? They say they're going to add that as a feature in the future, but they aren't now and I'm skeptical that they ever will.

He wouldn’t be giving up control, it’s making Threads the gateway to the fediverse. If people think they have to use his app to follow Beehive communities, Zuck wins.
