  1. Is there anything on the horizon about being able to block entire instances?

  2. Will there be a function that allows the auto-spell checker to work when submitting a title of a post?

1 you will automagically see an option for instance block when your instance upgrades to lemmy v0.19. For 2, I opened a PR to fix this, thanks!

Instance blocking is supposed to be coming in the next Lemmy update (0.19?), and will then be rolled out to the various clients like Voyager.

No idea about the spell checker.

That’s so good to hear. Can’t wait.

The iPhone automatically does spell check every time you type anywhere, and every Android device I’ve ever used did the same. Is this not good enough? Why would you need the app to check your spelling for you?

Because it’s a single line of input and if your title exceeds this line, you can’t see if something was mistyped.

And no, it does NOT automatically spell check in Voyager because Voyager still uses web based text as if it’s a search bar you would type urls into.

I stand corrected. I’ve never noticed that before.
