Isn't the early access like $35? If so I do not believe that would also give access to the game without a game pass subscription or separate purchase of the game.
My logic is simply if that were the case, why wouldn't everyone without game pass just by the $60 game for $35 and get early access to boot?
Yes that makes sense :)
But if I buy the game after would the 35€ count towards it? Or is it just a sink cost tied to Gamepass?
From my understanding the $35 simply gives you early access. So you either pay $35 + $60 for the game and early access or $35 for early access if you have game pass.
For me, it's steep. As hyped as I am for the game, I'll get it on regular release with game pass and binge it the following weekend. That early access weekend is the first full weekend of college football and labor day so I'll have plenty to keep me busy.
