Hi everyone. Just wanted to share if anyone was in San Diego. This cache is in honor of my mom who passed away 2 years ago today. Will be having a memorial dinner in her honor with the family on Saturday and would love to show all the people who have come to visit the Ventana Queen :)

I'm about to find my 500th cache this summer and I feel like I have a pretty good gauge on the variety that the game (at least in my area) has to offer. I've hidden a handful of my own, either on my property or those of my friends. I just have trouble believing that all of these micros along roadsides, on bridges, in nature preserves, attached to utility poles... that those hiders went through the proper channels to actually get consent. Are you attending city council meetings? Writing letters to businesses and real estate moguls? Or are just hiding containers and hoping that no one notices?

I want to hide some more caches, but I don't want to violate what in my mind is like the #2 rule of geocaching. How do you justify that? Do reviewers not care that much? What are your feelings about this?

I like giving a good hint in my hides so that people won't give up and most will find it. But some people write logs that say "That was too easy".

Do you read the hints or try to find them without the hint?
