Today, I took two buses, and I noticed that the drivers aren’t accepting 50-dram or 200-dram bills. They’re only asking for 100-drams or payment through an online wallet. Does anyone know why this is happening, and has anyone else had the same experience today?

Hello, I am not armenian but Ive recently begun dating my turkish girlfriend and when I asked her about the relations between turks and other countries, as all people from different countries tend to have different views than foreigners. Long story short she told me that the armenian genocide wasn‘t even taught in her school and that she had only learned of it a few years ago. How can this be? Please let me know your opinions.

Just got back from a trip to Armenia, and... wow. I’ve traveled a lot and visited countries with heavy histories (places like North Korea, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Lebanon are some of them), but Armenia was the first place that made me "that" feeling and left me asking how. How does a nation with such a tough past hold onto its culture, language, and spirit like this?

Learning about Armenia’s history, recent and not-so-recent, blew me away. Despite all the challenges, you guys have held onto your identity and kept moving forward. Most countries in a similar spot would’ve lost pieces of their culture or turned to the West or East influences, picking up the good and the bad with it. But Armenia? You’ve stayed grounded, kept your amazing cuisine, unique alphabet, untouched place to be seen, and somehow just… kept being Armenia showing the middle finger to anyone who tried to change that.

It’s like your whole country stands there, right in the middle of a tricky region, just saying, "We’re still here, and we’re not going anywhere." There’s something special about that. I’m so glad I got to experience the beauty, history, and resilience that Armenia has to offer.

This isn’t really a question... just wanted to take it out from me and to give a big shout-out to all Armenians. You guys are incredible!
