Hello everyone, I am 22-year-old Lebanese student. Due to the devastating conflict in Lebanon, I have been forced to put my studies on hold and live in a highly dangerous situation. I am urgently looking to relocate to Armenia to find safety and rebuild my life.

I am reaching out to this community for help, whether through sponsorship, advice, or connections with someone who can assist me in relocating. I am willing to work, study, or contribute in any way possible to secure my future in Armenia.

Any guidance or support you can offer would be deeply appreciated. Please feel free to message me or reply to this post if you have any advice or connections that could help.

Thank you for taking the time to read my message.

Barev!

Georgian here. First of all, I want to express my love and respect to my Armenian brothers and sisters. I have many Georgian-Armenian friends and I sincerely hope that one day our countries will be stronger than ever, standing side by side as good neighbors.

After centuries of shared experiences between our peoples, I’m sure Georgians hold a unique place in Armenian culture, just as Armenians do in Georgia. One of the most interesting ways this connection is often expressed is through humor. I’m curious - what kind of jokes/funny stereotypes do Armenians have about Georgians?

I’m genuinely interested in learning more about the way we’re portrayed from your perspective and I’m just looking for a good laugh, not trying to promote xenophobia or anything like that.

What shocks me is that, despite being fellow Christian nations surrounded by Muslim countries, Georgia and Armenia have some bad blood between them. I understand that any nation must be wary of its neighbors, but it seems that Georgians are more cordial with Azerbaijanis than with their fellow Christian Armenian brothers. Brothers fight, but then they realize they are family and forgive. I know the history has been tumultuous, but what can be done to mend ties between these two Christian nations?

Despite "1489" movie winning top prizes on numerous international festivals, Armenian movie association have voted against sending it to represent Armenia on Oscar

This is an obvious attempt to appease Azerbaijan, but it of course is futile and harmful.

Please help to petition Armenian government to revert this decision.

I know what the neo Pagan Armenian concept of death is, reincarnation and all that, but do we know what ancient Armenians believed happened after death before Christianity and the Church came to Armenia? I'm just curious because I know there's Spandaramet - goddess of the underworld though there's debate on what her role was regarding the afterlife, Aralez - spirits of death in dog form that can revive the dead like Ara the Handsome. What was our underworld called in Armenian? Did our underworld mimic the Greeks etc? I'm just curious if anyone knows, I've been reading up on Armenian mythology for fun but its hard to find a lot of this information, so was just wondering if anyone knew? The only thing that comes up is the Neo Pagan Armenian concept of death which I don't think reflects what ancient Armenians believed, but I could be wrong.

Hans Zimmer's concert had such a powerful moment when he paid tribute to the Armenian Duduk and gave a shoutout to Armenians—it seriously gave me chills!

Hans Zimmer is seriously obsessed with the Duduk! He originally teamed up with the legendary Jivan Gasparyan to work on the "Gladiator" soundtrack, and they made pure magic. Zimmer didn't stop there—he kept featuring the Duduk in some major hits like "Pirates of the Caribbean," "The Last Samurai," and even "Dune." In this post you will listen duduk from Gladiator and Dune movie soundtracks.

What made Zimmer's recent Duduk tribute even more special was that it happened on Jivan Gasparyan's birthday. Gasparyan was a true genius who put Armenian music on the global map as well as made our nation rocgnized accross the world yet another time.

Now, Zimmer is collaborating with another musical wizard, Pedro Eustache, who’s known for creating entirely new instruments from scratch—like turning a rain pipe into a musical piece that fits exactly what the Zimmer team wants in a song. Total next-level
